Strong vocational programs contribute to our overall curriculum. These classes teach hands-on life skills which can be utilized for a lifetime.

 FCCLA is an organization that is a part of the Family and Consumer Science program. Students use knowledge learned in the classroom to enter competitions at the district, state and national levels.

 In the last ten years the Jewell chapter has had four different teams win honors at national competition. Jewell FCCLA has also held three state officer positions and 10 district officer positions during this time period.

  FFA is the organization that is integrated into the Vo-Ag classroom. Jewell has a rich history of competing well at FFA Career Development events. In the past ten years Jewell has sent five different teams to national competition: Agronomy (twice), Floriculture (once), and Ag Technology Management (twice).
